During my recent stay at Ibay Zion Hotel, I experienced a blend of comfort and culinary exploration, albeit with some limitations. The highlight was undoubtedly the onsite restaurant, Mangan Tayon, where I enjoyed a cooked-to-order breakfast each morning. The daing na bangus did not meet my expectations, lacking the flavorful notes I hoped for. Despite this minor setback, the ambiance of the restaurant was inviting, making it a pleasant space to start the day. The staff were accommodating, addressing our needs promptly, which enhanced the overall experience. On our first morning, the warm service helped ease into our day despite the quality of the food. As someone deeply attuned to both luxury and practicality, especially in my role as a travel consultant, I appreciate culinary innovation paired with a relaxed atmosphere. Ideally, I envision Ibay Zion refining their menu to incorporate local flavors that resonate with guests seeking an authentic taste of the area. While my visit was promising, I believe improvements in the culinary offerings could elevate the experience significantly for future visitors.
